Steps to Apply
   
Step 1 Log on to GSKCH Buzz Facebook page and register by filling all the fields. (Registration opens from 29th August, 2011. Case will be available for download from 29th August, 2011 through the links on StratEdge Facebook Page/Company website)

Registration is mandatory for all teams intending to participate in the competition.
Note: Please ensure that you read through the Terms and conditions and agree to them before you apply.
   
Step 2

Each team must submit a five-page word document proposal (Font type: Tahoma, Font Size: 11) on or before 12th September 2011. This must include the following sections:

  • Executive summary
  • Objective
  • Insights
  • Strategy proposed with a focus on drivers and restraining forces
  • Expected outcome

The entries (the five page proposal) should be submitted on the GSKCH Buzz Facebook page
Naming convention for the submission to be: Institute name_Team Name (ex.: XLRI_Reds)

   
Step 3 The proposal will be evaluated by a panel at GSK Consumer Healthcare and three teams will be shortlisted from every zone. The three zones are:
  • North
  • West
  • South & East (combined)

The three Zonal round winners will be invited to present their proposal to the Area Vice President, GSKCH, Indian Sub-Continent and the leadership team of GSK Consumer Healthcare Limited. One team will be judged as the national winner.
 
The date, location and times of the presentations will be communicated through the campus cells.
   
Please note:
  • Travel fares of participants from their respective campus to the presentation venue shall be reimbursed by GSK Consumer Healthcare only if prior approval is taken from GSK Consumer Healthcare.

  • All entries and materials submitted by the Participants to GSK Consumer Healthcare in connection with the Contest (collectively, "entry materials"), along with all copyright and other proprietary rights associated therewith, shall become the property of GSK Consumer Healthcare upon submission and shall not be returned to any Participant. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the participants acknowledge that GSK Consumer Healthcare will own all rights to use, modify, reproduce and otherwise commercially and non-commercially exploit the entry materials, in any manner.
Awards*
  • The winner at the national round shall be given a Prize Money of Rs. 1.2 lakhs.
  • The winners at each zonal round shall be given Prize money as follows:


    - 1st Prize: Rs. 35,000/-

    - 2nd Prize: Rs 15,000/-
    - 3rd Prize: Rs. 10,000/-

*The Prize money is for the contest entry as a whole, irrespective of the number of team members (one to three). The Prize money shall be split equally between the members of the team subject to deduction of tax at source.
