FAQs
- Is this an individual project or can teams apply?
Teams of up to three people may apply. However, members of each team must be from the same institute. During the regional and national rounds, all team members must present (in turns) their case analysis and recommendations.
- Is our institute involved in the evaluation process?
No. The evaluation and decision will be completely at the discretion of the GSK management.
- What if my entry is a day late?
Unfortunately, the deadline is final. All entries must be received by midnight of 12th September 2011.
- What if I’d like to use another format for the proposal?
The first submission must be only a five-page word document that covers the following categories:
- Executive summary
- Objective
- Insights
- Strategy proposed with a focus on drivers and restraining forces
- Recommendations
If short listed for the regional or national round, the presentation format will be of your choice.
- Is entry limited to final year-students?
Participation is open to all full time (first year and second year) students, registered for a Masters program with the invited campuses/institutes.
- What is the evaluation criteria?
Evaluation of the entry materials will be based, among other things, on the feasibility and merit of the entries with respect to the case.

- Is there any chance of my idea being used by the company?
All entries and materials submitted by the Participants to GSK Consumer Healthcare in connection with the Contest (collectively, "entry materials"), along with all copyright and other proprietary rights associated therewith, shall become the property of GSK Consumer Healthcare upon submission and shall not be returned to any Participant. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Participants acknowledge that GSK Consumer Healthcare will own all rights to use, modify, reproduce and otherwise commercially and non-commercially exploit the entry materials, in any manner. Please ensure that you read the Terms and Conditions and agree to them before you apply.
- I do not belong to an Indian institution. Can I apply?
Entry is limited to the participating Indian institutions.
- What if my entry is longer/shorter than 5 pages?
All entries must be of or less than 5 pages and cover all the mentioned sections. Entries exceeding five pages will not be accepted.
- Can I view the evaluation?
Evaluation of the entry material will be done by a panel of judges comprising of GSK Consumer Healthcare representatives. The evaluations are confidential and at the discretion of the panel of judges.
- Can I contest a decision?
All decisions are final and binding and cannot be contested.
- Can I add annexures?
No annexure should be added during the first submission. However, if the entry is selected, the annexures would need to be submitted during the presentation to the panel.
- Do I need to send any other information about myself?
The information entered during registration will suffice.
- How is the prize money split?
The Prize money is for the contest entry as a whole, irrespective of the number of team members (one to three). The Prize money shall be split equally between the members of the team subject to deduction of tax at source.
