GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Limited (GSKCH) today declared its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2010. Net sales at Rs 2306 Crores recorded an impressive growth of 20% over 2009 with PAT at Rs. 300 Crores growing by 29 % for the same period and PBT at Rs 452 Crores growing by 28 %. For the fourth quarter, net sales were Rs. 508 crores while PBT and PAT were Rs 80 Crores and Rs 53 Crores respectively.
The Board of Directors of the Company also recommended a Dividend at the rate of Rs. 50 per equity share of Rs. 10 each (Dividend of Rs. 25 per equity share and a Special Dividend of Rs. 25 per equity share to celebrate Golden Jubilee of the Company) for the year ended December 31, 2010.
